Sarah James Kelly

Sarah James (SJ) Kelly is a sophomore at UVM. She is majoring in History with a minor in writing and is hoping to also add a minor in Film and Television studies. When she is not reporting, she likes to listen to music. You can catch her on WRUV under the alias Dj Jimmy Mooncalf, and she also enjoys reading and watching horror stories. 

Skyeler Devlin

My name is Skyeler Devlin and I am a senior at the University of Vermont. I am majoring in Sociology with a minor in English. Aside from my current internship with VPR, I wrote for the UVM’s school newspaper, the Cynic, during my junior year. When I am not reporting I enjoy snowboarding and watching basketball. 

Ben Greenes

Ben Greenes is a senior psychology major and public communication minor. When not reporting, he enjoys hiking, running, live music, and spending time with my loved ones.

Lindy Olderman

Lindy Olderman is a senior at UVM majoring in English and minoring in Film and Television Studies. When Lindy is not reporting, she enjoys hiking, watching movies, and scooping ice cream at Ben and Jerry's. 

Jess Kaplinger

Jess is a sophomore English major with a minor in Reporting and Documentary Storytelling. She’s originally from South Shore, Massachusetts, but she’s spent summers in Vermont all her life. She enjoys baking, hiking, and skiing.

Spence Hulbert

Spencer is a Junior in the Public Communications department at the University of Vermont and it minoring in Advertising and Community Entrepreneurship. He came to UVM in spring 2019 from his hometown of Vergennes, Vermont.  Since starting at UVM Spencer has been writing for the Vermont Cynic Newspaper for the Opinion section.  When he’s not reporting he works at the Sara Holbrook Community Center in Burlington’s Old North End.  He likes to rock climb in his free time when he’s not exploring the city by bike. 

Fiona Mcmanus

I am a third-year UVM student, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Writing as well as Reporting and Documentary Storytelling. When not reporting, I enjoy writing poetry and learning guitar! 

Eamon Dunn

Eamon Dunn is a junior English major and Art minor. He is the current Culture Editor at the Cynic and has written for Vermont Magazine. When not reporting, Eamon enjoys reading, creative writing, and baking.

Mary Kueser

Mary Kueser is a Public Communication student in her last year at UVM. Outside of Community News Service, she is the opinion editor for the Vermont Cynic and is working on her honors thesis producing a podcast for one of the research teams at UVM. In her free time, she loves reading, hiking, and spending time with her dogs
