Serious hurdles remain in the way of Vermont reaching it’s renewable energy goals, and in the way of a national goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, according to speakers at this year’s Renewable Energy Vermont Conference.
Vermont is one of the greenest states in the country, with a huge portion of our energy coming from renewable sources. But, there are many fronts in which the state can work to improve, such as transportation and improved insulation.
Despite Vermont is making strides to reach it’s renewable energy goals, and a national goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, hurdles still exist and there is still much progress to make, according to speakers at this year’s Renewable Energy Vermont Conference.
