Capital News Service (CapNS):

Debuting for the spring 2023 semester, Capital News Service reporters will bring a fresh eye to the Vermont Statehouse. Our small, select team has free reign to dig into legislative issues, avoiding day-to-day committee coverage in favor of in-depth looks at policy and the people it impacts.

Green Beat:

Debuting for the spring 2023 semester, GreenBeat reporters focus on all things environment. They're given wide latitude to write about pressing environmental issues in our communities: A story could look at the impact of a proposed development on local wildlife, protests organized by activist groups, pollution and conservation and research conducted by scientists and field workers studying our landscape. For 2023, GreenBeat interns will narrow their scope — ever so slightly — to coverage of the Lake Champlain watershed. That reporting is made possible with support from the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, the Lake Champlain Basin Program and donors to the College of Arts and Sciences.
